Personality:
Raph is really caring for his pokémon often brushing and bathing them to have them ready. He tends to act confident during most pokémon battles and he seems to know a lot about pokémon types and moves. He enjoys watching pokémon battles.

History:
Growing up like any other kid he would play around outside with his friends awaiting the day he would be able to journey off on his own. He grew up in Rustboro City in the Hoenn Region before moving to Goldenrod City in Johto. Before leaving his father had caught him a poochyena to care for and make up for them moving. When arriving in Goldenrod he met Bill a Pokemon professor that built the storage system, and became friends with him. After meeting Bill Raph would accompany him to nearby places and train his pokemon while helping Bill. Since those days they have grown up together and are now ready to journey out to become the best trainer there is and defeat his cousin Steven. Raph has journeyed back to Hoenn to begin his journey there with his old friends.

Matt is pretty laid back and relaxed. He spends most of his time doing creative things that could harm someone if he intended to do so. He's pretty smart and confident in his abilitys as a trainer.

History:
Growing up with Raphael in Rustboro city he attended trainer's school. His teacher was Roxanne the gym leader there. When Raph left Hoenn he got pretty bored often so his parents asked Roxanne if she could help him catch a pokemon which she did. They went up the route towards Verdenturf Town and caught a Machop. After that Matt would play around and train with Machop until he heard Raph was returning to begin his journey here, he quickly made plans to meet him in LittleRoot Town to obtain a starter and journey alongside him and Machop.

Personality:
Cathy is pretty exited most of the time. she hates insect pokemon and scares easily. She loves to battle and treat her pokemon. Not to mention cook, she took cooking  lessons so she could make her own food while her father was out.


History:
Growing up with only her father in Dewford Town Cathy would help him with his research during her spare time. She would pretty much enjoy herself since she only helped in taking care of the pokemon. One day when a new pokemon went on a rampage she fled into Granite Cave, while there she befriended a Mawile. When she finally exited the cave Mawile helped her calm the pokemon down and decided to stay with her. Mawile and Cathy trained together while they where bored with the other pokemon frequently untill her father's lab was robbed and destroyed by Team Aqua. Cathy now goes out with Mawile to get back at Team Aqua for destroying her father's lab while at the same time setting out on her pokemon journey.

Prologue

“Reeeep!” cried a newly hatched Mareep one of the many pokémon in this world where pokémon and humans co-exist. Some as trainers who battle their pokémon to become the very best, others who use them to compete in showing off a pokémon’s attacks and others who use them for evil deeds like the mischievous Team Rocket. They are one of the many dangers a trainer can encounter during their journey. This story revolves around one starting trainer hailing from Goldenrod City who has already one pokémon a Poochyena which he named Luna; this trainer is none other than Raphael.

Raph has already battled and trained a bit with Luna, he currently resides in 0107 Riverside Lane where he has lived for four years. He was about to embark on a journey, just like so many others had done before him, and many would soon after. He packed his bag with a couple pokeballs, lots of food and safety tools including a sleeping bag, even a potion or two before heading out. He kissed his mom goodbye, grabbed his pokégear and headed out towards his friend Bill's house. As he arrived he ringed the bell and waited for an answer.

In a couple of seconds a man in a white coat came out, he is none other than Bill the creator of the pokemon storage system. "Well if it isn't Raphael Stone and Luna, so isn't today the day you two were to journey out on your adventure?" "Yeah I came to ask if I could use one of your pokemon to LittleRoot Town, you see I was planning on going to the Hoenn Region and meet up with one of my friends. So think you could help me?" Bill stepped outside and closed his door as he thought for a while.

"Well not sure why not, come on I'll give you a ride. Let's go Pidgeot, let's give our friend here a ride huh? Now let's get going" he said as Raphael, Luna and himself got on Pidgeot and took off towards LittleRoot Town. As they were flying they saw some Pidgey heading to the east for the season. "Raph I want you to have this" said Bill as he pulled out a pocket sized device.

"It'll act as your trainer identification throughout any region. It also has a feature that let's you know info on every known pokemon." Bill then handed it to Raphael as he put it in his pocket. "Thanks Bill it should help along with your special pokegear version, looks like we're getting near." After those words Pidgeot started getting nearer to the ground and came to a stop in a clear plains with a couple of bushes

"Looks like it now Raph have a nice journey, be safe" Bill said as Raph and Luna got off Pidgeot before it took off. "Alright thanks Bill" Raph said as he heard some rattling in the bushes nearby.

Chapter 1

Vs. Machop


"Uhh Luna what's that?" Ralph questioned seeming a bit freaked from the rustle in the bushes while Luna jumped off his shoulder and began growling. "Okay if you think anyone's there use your shadow ball attack Luna" he commanded as she charged up a black ball and shot it at the bushes. Before it could hit the bushes a figure seemed to have jumped out and out onto the grass next to them.

"Hmm, they're pretty... hey Matt is that you?" he asked as he looked at a male trainer with presumably his Machop. Before Ralph could get an answer Luna charged in at the Machop with its tackle attack just to be knocked back with a low kick from the fighting type pokemon. "At last we meet again Ralph, how about we finish this little battle you started. Now Macho use your Karate Chop!" he commanded as his human based pokemon charged at Luna and struck her with his straightend hand knocking her a few feet back.

"Well I guess we have no choice, use your Bite attack Luna!" As soon as the words left his mouth the small pokemon dashed at the Machop and bit on to its arm and stuck itself in. "Let's finish this with a Bullet Punch Macho!" With the small dog-like pokemon on its arm it hit her straight in the face and sent her flying at Ralph as she fainted. "Luna no, you did great girl. Are you done yet?" Ralph questioned raising Luna up onto his arms and awaiting an answer from his old friend.

"Well we already won didn't we, you should've known not to use a dark type against a fighting type. Now come on lets get a move on we don't want to keep Professor Birch waiting" with that they both went off towards the Prof. Labarotory.
Within a couple of minutes they finnally arrived at a pretty decent sized building and knocked on the door. As a man answered the door he had quite an astonished look on his face and said "You two muust be the new trainers here for your p p pokemon right, well come on in" he said nervously taking them to a room with a couch, table, tv and other decorative items.

"The Prof. is on his way he is in the back" he said before heading off. After another five minutes a man in a white lab coat and brown bag came into the room and and welcomed them before asking them they're names. "I'm Ralphael" "and I'm Matthew" they said before standing up. "Ahh, okay well just before you arrived someone stole one of our starters so we only have two in store" he said bfore turning to Ralph "You can choose first, so which will it be Mudkip the water type or Treecko the grass type" he said as he released the pokemon following its name.

"Heh, so this little guy is a mudkip huh. I'd like to take him if it's okay" "Of course it is, and I presume you'll be taking the Treecko Matthew?" "Of course, he seems like a great battler and a good companion, thank you Professor"

Chapter 2

Vs. Zigzagoon

Having gained there respective starter pokemon from Professor Birch both Matt and Ralph made there way out of town and on the road towards Petalburg City. They'd been walking for quite some time now before they started to notice fainted pokemon left and right. "Hmm, this is starting to disturb me. All these fainted pokemon we should report this to Officer Jenny in the next Town so they can heal up quickly" stated Matt as they saw fainted Wurmple, Weedle, Pidgey left and right. "Yeah you're right but I wonder what did this to them." "Hey I remember somewhere it saying the Mudkip can use the fin on their tail to locate vibrations, maybe it can help us find who or what did this" "Good Idea worth a try too so lets go Mudkip!"

"Mudkip!" it said in a happy tone as it was released from the pokeball. "Okay Mudkip we need your help, we found a lot of fainted pokemon here in the forest so we need you to use that fin of yours to check around and see if you feel anything nearby. It could be the one that did this" Mudkip nodded before focusing itself on the ground and slowly moving out. Within a mere couple of minutes Mudkip had stopped in front of a Zigzagoon that had just finished taking out a Pidgey alongside a Sentret. Once they saw the trio they turned their attention to them and gave them a nasty look and were ready to battle.

"Okay Matt it looks like they battle as a team so I'm gonna need a little help here" Ralph told Matt in a soft voice not taking his eyes of the two pokemon. "Alright, lets go Treecko!" he said tossing a pokeball up into the air as a bright light emited from it leaving behind the green geecko pokemon next to Mudkip. "Tree-cko" it said getting in a fighting stance. "Okay Mudkip lets start this off by shooting that Zigzagoon with your Water gun attack!" Ralph commanded with Mudkip nodding and launching off a stream of water towards the pokemon. However before the attack could reach the pokemon it started off in a Zigzag towards Mudkip before slamming into it with it's headbutt attack.

While Mudkip and Ralph were taking on the Zigzagoon Matt and Trecko were starting off with Sentret. "Okay Treecko lets start this off with your Quick Attack!" he commanded as Treecko took little to no time at all to dash off towards the pokemon. As Treecko began to approach the pokemon it went off at Treecko using a quick attack of its own. As they collided they both were sent flying back to were Treecko used it legs to stop and stand up while Sentret went rolling to a stop in front of a tree.

It was pretty clear that Zigzagoon was the stronger of the two and that Sentret may have been used as a distraction. "Okay Mudkip, we have a quick opponent here so lets try and slow it down with your Mud-slap attack!" Ralph said while Mudkip bagan slapping mud at the Zigzagoon eventually hitting it and getting it covered with mud. Even with the mud it still seemed pretty fast as it ran in for a tackle attack knocking Mudkip off its feet. "Well looks like we're gonna have trouble with this little guy" Ralph said feeling on ease as the pokemon seemed to take no effect to the attacks.

Vs. Sentret

As the battle continued Sentret had already been knocked out by Treecko and now both pokemon were teaming up on Zigzagoon. It was a pretty even battle as both teams went neck and neck in perfect synch. "Alright Mudkip use another water gun and shoot that Zigzagoon at Treecko!" commanded Ralph as Matt joined in "And as it approaches use your pound attack and knock it down." Both pokemon had perfectly executed their moves but it still wasn't enough though it was obvious that Zigzagoon was almost out. It'd gotten slower and its attacks had gotten weaker.

"Okay lets try and end this use Absorb Treecko!" commanded Matt "Use your Mud-Slap Mudkip!" commanded Ralph as they continued to attack the wild pokemon. After the attacks Zigzagoon was still barely standing but passed out from its injuries. "Nice job you two now take a rest" Matt said as he and Ralph returned the pokemon to their respective pokeballs. With that out of the way the duo continued to journey out to Oldale town which they reached around sundown. "Wow that battle took us a while, but it sure was worth the experience" commented Matt as Ralph was to tired to respond.

They made their way into the pokemon in moments and had their pokemon healed. "Nurse Joy do you have anywhere we can stay for the night?" asked Ralph as Nurse Joy happily replied "Of course follow me this way" before leading the two to the back where the rroms were. "Now you two sleep here and make sure to make your beds, bye now breakfast will be ready at 8 in the morning" she said with a smile closing the door behind her.

"Well I don't know about you but I get this top bunk" said Ralph climbing up the bed as Matt just lied down on the closest lower bunk, let out a sigh of relied and quickly fell asleep. Ralph didn't take much more before doing the same. During the night Ralph had awoken as he went for some water having his mouth dry, while in the kitchen he heard a couple of noises and headed its way.

"Okay who's out here?" he called out as he heard a bit of laughter but it was unlike any humans more like a pokemons. "Okay lets go Luna!" Ralph said tossing Luna outta her ball, she landed on the ground a bit sleepy. "I know it's late Luna but we have someone causing a ruckess here, now sniff out anything in this room and use your shadow on it." Ralph said sure of his pokemons instincts and ability.
